A Kenyan publishing house built around the author

Tale House Publishers works with writers across Kenya and the wider region to turn finished manuscripts into properly edited, formatted and printed books — and then to put those books in front of readers.

What we do

Every project moves through a documented publishing workflow: manuscript assessment, editing, interior formatting and cover design, ISBN registration, proofing, printing and release. Authors receive a tracking number so they always know which stage their book has reached, and a signed publishing certificate once the title is published.

Printing in Kenya

We print locally in A5 and A4 trim sizes on standard and cream paper stock, in paperback or hardcover, with pricing quoted transparently in Kenyan shillings before printing begins.

Selling your book

Published titles are listed in the Talehouse Bookstore in paperback and eBook editions, with reader ratings and reviews.
